Job TitleRevenue Cycle Business AnalystJob DescriptionRevenue Cycle Business Analyst - Malvern, PAThe purpose of the Revenue Cycle Business Analyst is to ensure the smooth operation of the Service business, by using data & analytics to identify areas of opportunity or improvement.
This position is analytical in nature and works collaboratively with the wider organization to ensure we provide exceptional service to our customers.
You will provide operational solutions by analyzing, problem solving, collaborating, and executing against a plan through to completion and improvement of the operation.
Your role:
Participate in analyzing and optimizing application systems.
Understand complex business functions and workflows and how applications systems interact to support the business.
Partner with business operations to improve workflows.
Understand business requirements to provide feedback to key stakeholders.
Identify challenges with the organization and implement procedures and processes to overcome.
Digest large datasets to find operational issues and trends and provide insight to leadership.
Understand root cause and push to resolution.
Support the business in EMR application functions.
Collecting and documenting requirements by collaborating with stakeholders.
Build and test application feature changes.
Putting together Test Scenarios for stakeholders and testing test cases where appropriate.
Oversee implementation projects beginning to completion.
Create and present reports to executive team members to support recommendations.
Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement.
You're the right fit if:
Bachelor's degree in fields of Computer Science, Information Systems, or Healthcare administration.
You've acquired 3
years of financial EMR experience is required.
Soarian Financials experience is preferred.
Your skills include problem solving, time management, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
You have a strong understanding of Revenue Cycle Management lifecycle in areas like financial clearance, claim billing, remittance processing, and denial management (CRCR, CHFP, or other certifications are a plus) You also have a basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
Knowledgeable in Reporting software and experience with Visio/Lucid Chart for documenting/outlining key BPM processes.
Knowledgeable in the Software Development lifecycle with a focus on Software Requirement Gathering from key business stakeholders.
Knowledgeable in JIRA and Issue Management.
